One time I worked for a company that provided free hamburger lunches every Thursday to 3 people, basically. It was an import/export start-up. After 3 weeks, one of the partners insisted in doing away with the free meals because they were too expensive. The partner's net worth was over US$8,000,000 at the time, much more today. At which point saving money is a priority and at which point does it become ridiculous? The free burgers were nowhere near as big as the ones below! The same individual had was a great person, someone that would purchase a $400,000 home in cash if needed. Or own a pub in England, all paid for in cold cash. Yet, when I asked this individual why she didn't have a radio in her old Citation, she replied:"Oh, I can sing or whistle when I drive...." Then
Google keeps a log of your searches based on which account you are logged into. I think that this is done in order to know more about your activity and to serve as a reminder of the topics you've searched for on YouTube, for example. If you want to know what Google "has" on you as far as searches, go to the following link, and if you want, you can delete all your search activity by month and for All Time. Whether deleting logs also means that they are deleted permanently from Google's servers, I don't really know. You'd have to ask them. https://www.google.com/history/ Yes, your search history is being recorded so if you break the law, guess what? You can also determine which types of ads Google serves you based on topics that you like. For that, check out the following li
For many years, I worked in real estate sales. Besides working with buyers and sellers, I came to appreciate the work that Title Companies do. They are the people behind the scenes that process the directives in a REPC. (Real Estate Purchase Contract) plus everything that has to do with a particular property clearance, title insurance and other details in order for it to close thus ensuring that transaction goes smooth for all parties involved. I have never met title company staff that wast nice, from the receptionist to the closing officer. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Salary.com, the average salary for an Escrow Officer is about $45,777 per year. Escrow involves financial transactions where money is held by a third party, an escrow officer and ma
YouTube is owned by Google. That implies that Google has 100% authority over YouTube's content. Is it possible that YouTube can delete, ban, demonetize, limit or censor videos it deems to be objectionable or in violation of its community standards? In my personal opinion, no doubt they can and they notify you too. They follow strict internal criteria before they tag or remove your video. I am not sure that Google engages in controlling or censoring information that flow through YouTube but I have watched videos where journalists and others expressed concern that some videos got taken down or were demonetized for whatever reason. The way I see it, Google and YouTube have the right to do whatever they want. They don't charge money for a person to upload and present a video to the w
I dislike blog posts that assume we are dumb, don't you? I assume that you know a lot and I bet that you want to experience as much success in your social media marketing efforts as everyone else out there. Would you agree that wasting money isn't a good thing and that if you've been hired to "do" social media, your boss will eventually ask: "What results did we get from the last campaign?" When it comes to social media marketing, I'd definitely want to avoid being misguided. I'd wanna know who my audience is, what buttons to push and how I'd convince them to get involved with what I have to offer. I wouldn't employ efforts that made me look "dated" and undistinguished from my competitors. Easier said than done. You know, what we want vs. what we get... The Inte
Adversities and setbacks are all part of life. Who hasn't experienced some type of frustration or disappointment? At work, at home, in school, in a relationship? Some adversities are worse than others and some can even be tragic. But we must keep on going and not be defeated, especially by things we have no control over. Someone or something will eventually let us down. While others will uplift and edify us. There are things that happen in life and to people that are hard to deal with, but not impossible and it seems like we live in a day where bad things can happen to good people, leaving many broken-hearted, saddened and seeking answers to explain the growing evil around us all. For example, the senseless deaths of innocent people in the recent Las Vegas shooting. It is important
